The Claude Lyons Group has many years experience in solving power problems and offers a range of professional on site services to our customers. These include both standard site surveys and long term site monitoring. All of our site surveys incorporate full on site analysis of your power supply using the most up to date data loggers and power analysers. The real value of a site survey is that it provides you (and us) with analytical data on which to make informed decisions as to the equipment to be installed or the type of corrective action required. Our surveys are fully documented with printouts of results and suggestions for the optimising of energy consumption and/or the correction of any disturbances found.

ENERGY SAVING
To optimise a planned installation and to estimate the savings from the installation of an energy saving regulator it is desirable to monitor the supply voltage and current. For simple single-phase situations this can often be done by the user, but where complex and three-phase distribution arrangements are involved it may be helpful to have the assistance of our experienced personnel.

We can often perform a ‘snapshot’ survey during a single visit, but where wide voltage variations over time are being experienced a data logger can be installed and the results analysed over a suitable period of time. For information on relevant products see Energy Saving.
